INCREASE IN NO OF STUDENTS

Due to the continued efforts of the HBET team, there has been increase in the numbers of students that are now provided with aid from the organization. HBET has grown from 12 students in 1997 to 538 students in 2016-17, our donors and team have made this possible.

INCREASE IN FUNDS DISTRIBUTED ( IN LAKHS )

As the numbers of students increase, so does the amount of funds utilized.

RURAL AND URBAN RATIO

The Trust aims to cover as much rural ground as possible in and around Jammu. In these rural areas, the girls are our focus. We believe if we educate a girl then we will help educate a future family. The graphs below show you the coverage of the trust and the numbers of girls.

GENDER RATIO

Due to the continued efforts of the HBET team, there has been increase in the numbers of students that are now provided with aid from the organization. HBET has grown from 12 students in 1997 to 419 students in 2013, our donors and team have made this possible.

DROPOUT RATIO

Due to HBET’s work over the last decade, the drop out ratio of HBET Students is only 7%. This was not always the case as dropouts were very common. Only after numerous counseling sessions and frequent interaction with the children and their parents, have we seen a vast decline is this number. As you can see the percentage of children who are not under the Trust have an 81% percent dropout rate.

AVERAGE ATTENDENCE

Now our students are more aware and they want to be a part of something bigger. They are now more interested in attending their classes and this can be seen when you compare HBET students with non HBET students in the same classes.
